Quotes

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us."
~Helen Keller~

Sometimes, it can be easier to dwell in the what could have been, in the what ifs, than to take the step to explore what can be. Funny how we can be in the best of places (figuratively) and yet the loveliness is marred by distant memories. I suppose there will always be moments such as this but the happy moments well... this, one of my all time favourite quotes and something I always think about sums it up...

"We can always choose to perceive things differently. You can focus on what's wrong in your life, or you can focus on what's right. But whatever you focus on, you're going to get more of. Creation is an extension of thought. Think lack, get lack. Think abundance and you get more."
~Marianne Williamson~

And so, I leave with this...

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel unsure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. As we let our own Light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
~ Marianne Williamson ~

May ya'll let your light shine and love the person you see reflected back at you.
